Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

An aircraft transporting the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet landed following standard procedures and all passengers, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered technical problems.

Earlier this year, a American military jet transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
