The young golfer will have plenty of prominent supporters as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and regularly competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.
But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior human being. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials commented that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially among youth audiences.
Kai has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness brand.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
