This event led to the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a suspected irritant spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A young child was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
